A parable:
A young Native American squaw was sitting by the communal campfire, gazing intently into the flames. The tribe's elder, seeing that the youth was deeply troubled, said to the young man, "There are two wolves at war in your soul. One is dark and evil. He thirsts for conquest, vengeance, and power. The other is bright and good. He strives to build a time of peace and joy." For a few moments, the youth did not acknowledge the elder's words. Then the boy looked up at the elder and asked solemnly, "Which one will the win?" The elder replied, "Whichever one you feed."
